Sunset mountains
This is an Illustrator project I’ve worked on for my Capstone Project, inspired by many youtube videos in order to create this piece that features an arrangement of skills. The sunset features a colour palette that I particularly enjoyed working with. Time spent: 3 hours and 20 mins
Sunset Lake
My next piece follows a similar theme as the first one, including sunsets, mountains and vibrant colours. As I spent my hours doing this, I found that I enjoy portraying nature in my art and take great inspiration from it. As well as simple artwork that doesn’t let certain details take away from the main focus. Time spent: Around 2 hours and 5 mins.
Sunset Ocean
Following the common occurrence of sunsets and nature, I decided that I wanted to follow that pattern but try different and harder techniques such as the wavy reflection of the boat. This piece took longer than expected due to those reasons, although as my skillset was expanding, so was my time efficiency. Time spent: 2 hours and 48 mins
Tropical Mountain
For this peice I veered of the theme of sunsets but continue incorporating nature scenes. This artwork was an ambitious one taking me the longest to finish out of everything I’ve created thus far. I’m very proud of how dedicated I was to finishing this as I had to work on it over the course of several days. Due to its extreme detail, I had take breaks and come back to it and couldn’t just finish it in one sitting. Overall, I think it turned out well and am proud I tried something that really pushed my ability. Time spent: Around 4 hours and 50 mins
